Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“On multiple occasions while slowing down, or coming off the line, with the clutch fully disengaged, the motorcycle has stalled. The RPMs drop to zero and it cuts out. Usually you can hear the engine sputter a bit before it cuts. I've tried adjusting the clutch free play and it's made no difference.”

NHTSA complaint #11623746, filed 2024-11

“Immobilizer warning light stays lit while riding. Bike sometimes takes 2-3 cycle to restart when warm. Occasionally bike has immediately cut off when downshifting for a complete stop from 2nd gear with clutch lever pulled in.”
