The contact stated that the steering wheel independently steered into an unintended direction. The contact stated that the failure almost caused a crash. While I cannot definitively isolate driver input from system input during the maneuver, the vehicle immediately entered a fail-safe state, triggering a cascade of specific error codes: Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Fault, Front AEB Unavailable, Highway Assist Inoperative, and Intelligent Speed Adaptation Inoperative. …”
