The contact stated that an ambient warning light appeared on the instrument cluster, indicating that the rear passenger’s side taillight unit was inoperative. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on five separate occasions to address the failure. During the visits, the bulb was replaced, the taillight assembly was replaced twice, and the control module was replaced. The dealer later determined that the module had been installed incorrectly.
