“The media center does not shut off when my car shuts off, I brought it to Ken Garf Volkswagen dealership on June 25 when my car died. They did a diagnostic. I picked it up and they said there was nothing they could do about the media center because there are no software updates for it. So basically the plan was to just have my car continue dying. On July 10, it died again for the same reason.”

NHTSA complaint #11749842, filed 2026-07

“I was driving down the road and heard a weird noise as if something exploded…I look up and my sunroof had a big whole in it…I looked around to see if any trucks where by me and all the traffic was way behind or further up…. Nthn was near me to have cracked sunroof. I only had truck about 20 days or so… I believe it’s a defect and the dealer wants me to file it on my insurance..”

NHTSA complaint #11561569, filed 2023-12

“This was already fixed by replacing thermostat sensor but now happening again about 1 month since repair. While driving the car has a red alert come up reporting high temp pull over and my car then just loses power, ability to steer and to even be able to pull over safely (rpm’s go way up but little movement steering wheel freezes)- not when I’m at a complete stop but literally middle of driving. Not sure if it’s engine if it’s the thermostat.”

NHTSA complaint #11686674, filed 2025-09

“Keyless entry continuously fails. When using the door handles to unlock or lock the vehicle the vehicle behaves as if key fob is not present if the key fob is in our pants pocket or pocketbook. We have to physically take the key fob out of our pants/bag where we then can observe the handshake between vehicle and key fob take place in order to lock/unlock vehicle. Vehicle has been at the dealer multiple times (they had car for 60 days trying to resolve the issue). …”

NHTSA complaint #11652460, filed 2025-04

“I noticed I had a crack in my windshield starting from the outer edge right at eye level. I got out to check what happened and noticed there was a Little Rock wedged between the windshield and the part of the car where the windshield is inlayed. There is not a weather strip or gasket covering the gap between the windshield and the car. It is exposed just enough for debris to be caught. Sure enough the pressure from that tiny rock caused my windshield to crack. I just bought my car August 2024 brand new. …”
