NHTSA complaint #11353119, filed 2020-09, 40,000 miles“I leased a vw CC 2014 my vehicle on nov 20 2014. On dec 1 2014, when I was backing up at my office location I saw a white line on the display unit. I took it to the dealer to fix it. They reviewed the issue and replaced the center display. However on 11-dec-2014 the same issue of center line appeared on the screen. After having the car for a day, the vw told me its by design that a center shall come up when there is sun. This is safety issue and I have pictures and videos of this behavior. I hope you can help me resolve this.”
