2013 Volkswagen GTI Technical Service Bulletins

858 technical service bulletins (TSBs) are on record for the 2013 Volkswagen GTI. TSBs are notes manufacturers send to dealers about repair procedures for issues seen in the field. They are not recalls and do not by themselves mean a vehicle has a fault.

• 10237708Jun 24, 2011Electrical system. The instrument cluster illumination is controlled by a photocell inside the cluster. If an illumination concern is suspected, darken the area over the photocell, or use a flashlight to simulate natural light changes, to see how the illumination is affected. See figure 1 below for example of the photocell location based on a 2011 Jetta sedan. Location can change based on model.
