“The contact owns a 2024 Volkswagen Taos. The contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing electrical failures. The contact stated while driving and slowly coming to a complete stop with her daughter in the front passenger’s seat, the contact felt the brake pedal suddenly traveling further down independently, and the vehicle prematurely came to a stop. Additionally, the radio became excessively loud, causing both the contact and her daughter to feel shocked. …”
NHTSA complaint #11590349, filed 2024-05, 1,000 miles“Truck stutters when accelerating, as if it is going to cut off. There were 2 warning signs illuminated on the dashboard. According to the service center it was the road sign display that was malfunctioning. About 3 days later, the service tech said it could be the front camera or sensor. A week after that, it was believed to be a software issue. Almost a month later, there is still not an answer to what has caused the warning lights to come on. Still no word on the stuttering while accelerating.”
