1998 Volvo 770 Suspension Problems

“Vehicle was expereincing numerous electrical problems, the fuses in the dash were continuously blowing because of a loose wire on several occassions, the starter was replaced, there were key switch problems, and the trailer power cord was inoperative, dealer replaced the wiring harness.”

“The owner reports poor mileage and durability of the front wheel bearings and has had a problem with excesive steer axle weight, fuel tanks and 5th wheel rails move aft but steer axle weight runs about 13,140 lbs (cummins engine)(reported to manufacturer). Nlm”

“Consumer states multiple alignments have been performed on the truck due to vibration, the front and rear u-bolts are inoperative, a broken spring was replaced. The vehicle has also experienced dash wiring harness problems and water leaks from the top of the window.”

“Front end spring broke and popping sound in front end rear ends axles shifting throttle position sensor cause throttle to race and not drop down. Front tire wear.”

“The steer tires are experiencing premature wear and vibration, alignments and balancing have been completed and the problems still exist, consumer did not give make of tires.”
