“The accident happened on my property when I was in my routine of leaving the garage, always the same track and control manners. The steps of the event: I started the bike, set the first gear, rolled down the concrete slab. 2 seconds later the bike unintended accelerated, shooting out of the driveway into the field and the woods. I instinctively jumped off the bike and let it down in front of a tree. I landed several feet on the soft ground with a badly fractured left leg. I have ridden this bike for 2.5 years and have 6,900 miles on it.”

NHTSA complaint #10275684, filed 2009-07, 6,900 miles
