“The plastic component(s) on the radiator broke allowing coolant to exit the coolant system and splash upon the motor and other engine components. The Acura dealer (in omaha nebraska; 84th street) was queried about this problem and the service department employee indicated they had replaced three radiators in the previous few weeks. They stated this appeared to be a higher than normal failure rate. The individual provided me Acura's regional number and I called to advise them of this problem. …”
NHTSA complaint #10047316, filed 2003-11, 80,287 miles“Last year I started having problems with the vehicle I`ve purchased. I`ve contacted the dealer with the problems, and they have told me that repairs wouldn`t be done at no charge because my car is no longer covered by a manufacturer`s warranty. When I drive my car, the ride is very stiff, every time there is a crack or a little bump on the road it feels like you are driving off the road. …”
NHTSA complaint #705789, filed 1999-04“While driving over 65 MPH,the vehicle will start to lose all power. The consumer's clearance light keeps coming on for no reason, and if the consumer slows the vehicle down under 65 MPH, the vehicle will drive like there is no problem. The vehicle has been repaired by the dealer. But if driven over 65 MPH the vehicle will continue to lose power. Can't determine the problem.”
