“Second transmission lags when accelerating from rolling stop, unresponsive throttle. ***dimsii ivoq entry posted after 12-12-02 cut over to artemis***762229”

NHTSA complaint #10009355, filed 2002-05, 1,000 miles

“I have noticed significant hesitation when I launch the car from a stop. When the car is completely stopped, and I step on the gas pedal, a lag of 1-3 seconds is observed. Within this time range, the car just idles as-is without moving forward. The same problem happens when I attempt to accelerate from 10-30. I consider this to be a safety hazard for myself and other people on the road.”

NHTSA complaint #762241, filed 2002-05

“Transmission or turbos lags after stopping-causing a delay in accelleration-almost hit and rear ended several times. No accident yet but some adjustment in the transmission or chip should be made by Audi on all of these cars- check out Audi forums for 60 or more experiencing this same event.”
