“Takata recall-I have been sent multiple notices about both driver and passenger airbags that need to be recalled. I have contacted faifield Audi multiple times to have this repaired. They keep pushing me off saying that there are no parts available to complete this recall and that it is a federal issue at this point. This may be true, can you confirm?”

I have twice contacted my local Audi dealer (Audi of hilton head, ridgeland, sc) requesting replacement. On both occasions I was advised that the parts are not available and they do not know when the parts will become available. This presents a dangerous and ongoing safety issue. Please advise how I can force Audi to remedy this problem immediately.”

The first one, in feb 2016 was for the air bag on the drivers side; the second was for the passenger's air bag in may 2016. It's now december 2016 and my local Audi dealer still does not have a remedy for either one. According to them, the only solution is to not drive the car until they can fix it. How am I supposed to do that? How can I have a car that I can't drive? …”
