- 10038758Apr 1, 2011Engine cooling. Audi service campaign: see document search button for owner letter. The engine thermostat stays close and may cause the engine to overheat. Warning lights will illuminate. 2010-2011 models.
- 10038589Apr 1, 2011Engine cooling. Audi service campaign: see document search button for owner letter. A seal inside the coolant pump can wear out and leak coolant. This also caused the engine light to come on. *rm updated on 06/27/2011.
- 10038250Feb 24, 2011Engine cooling. Audi: the coolant pump is leaking or the engine is overheating without a leak.
- 10038255Jan 21, 2011Engine cooling. Audi: transmission problems resulting in a delayed engagement when cold or no drive on first engagement.
- 10037817Dec 13, 2010Fuel system. Volkswagen: the rubber seal of the filler cap may detach. 2010 audi a6.
- 10035345Oct 20, 2010Exterior lighting. Audi: daytime running lights do not work. Daytime running lights do not work on vehicles with xenon headlights. The thumb wheel or option for daytime running lights is turned off by mistake.
- 10035347Sep 15, 2010Exterior lighting. Audi: led daytime driving light inoperative on one side. Led contacts of the daytime running light on vehicles with xenon headlamps are affected due to oxidation. Modified headlights. Replace the affected headlight.
- 10035349Sep 1, 2010Electrical system. Audi: central locking locks up when removing ignition key from ignition lock. When removing the ignition key from the ignition, the customer may unintentionally operate the lock button of the remote key. With the s contact in the ignition lock off, the central locking responds to signals from the remote key.
- 10035249Sep 1, 2010Engine cooling. Audi: mil on; rough idle; one or more of the following dtcs are stored-dtc p0300 (random/multiple cylinder misfire detected); dtc p0301-0312 (cyl. 1 misfire detected-cyl.12 misfire detected); engine may have reduced performance without significant loss of power or stalling.
- 10035270Jun 9, 2010Electrical system. Audi: airbag dtcs in module due to low vehicle voltage (dtc u000200, u015500, and u101500). This condition can be created by low battery voltage in the vehicle. The dtcs are incorrectly set in the diagnosis protocol of the airbag control unit. These dtcs do not affect the functionality of the airbag system. Improved airbag control software is planned for production.
- 10035324Jun 2, 2010Exterior lighting. Audi: led daytime driving light inoperative on one side. Led contacts of the daytime running light on vehicles with xenon headlamps are affected due to oxidation. Modified head lights. Replace the affected headlight.
- 10035248Jun 1, 2010Engine cooling. Audi: mil on; rough idle, one or more of the following dtcs are stored-dtc p0300 random/multiple cyliner misfire detected; dtc p0301-0312 (cyl. 1 misfire detected-cyl. 12 misfire detected); engine may have reduced performance without significant loss of power or stalling.
- 10034748May 19, 2010Air bags. Audi: airbag light on. The software in airbag control module is too sensitive (only at engine startup) when diagnosing the side crash sensors. As a result, the airbag control module can incorrectly set false dtcs for crash sensor incorrect. The software in the airbag control module must be updated to repair this condition.
- 10034746May 5, 2010Exterior lighting. Audi: automatic headlight switches on and off without reason. Headlight turns on or off early or late when the light witch is in the auto position; after replacing the rain light sensor g397 or after replacing the windshield, the automatic headlight may turn or off without change of ambient brightness. Headlights operate normally if the light switch is in the on or off position.
- 10035268Mar 24, 2010Electrical system. Audi: software version management (svm) operating instructions. Detailing the general process for carrying out a software version management (svm) software update for any tsb or required vehicle update (rvu). Troubleshooting information is included.
- 10033329Dec 18, 2009Fuel system. Audi: mil on and one or more of the following dtcs are stored inthe ecm data memory-p310b (low pressure fuel system regulation, fuel pressure outside tolerance); p129f or p008b (low pressure fuel system, pressure too high); p129f or p008a (low pressure fuel system, pressure too low); p2540 (low pressure fuel system, pressure out of range; and p0087 (rail fuel pressure system, pressure too low).
- 10033332Oct 27, 2009Equipment, Suspension. Audi: self leveling compressor inoperative. Self leveling system cannot be adjusted any more with the mmi; compressor for self leveling system continues to run after switching off the engine and locking the vehicle. Because of poor performance or failure of compressor for air suspension, vehicle position cannot be adjusted.
- 10032290May 13, 2009Electrical system. Audi: software version management (svm), operating instructions. Svm is a process to update the programming in flashable (re-programmable) control modules and/or to document changes in software levels in audi vehicles. This system uses the vas 5051b or vas 5052 diagnostic tools to send vehicle specific data to the svm database, to download instructions from the svm database, and to flash control units for…
