“Driving home on the highway this evening, my vehicle sounded a couple of alarms and said driver assistance systems (which I wasn’t using) stopped working, and my accelerator completely stopped working. I was forced to unsafely cut across several lanes of traffic to an upcoming exit and coast until I could pull-off into a zone for “authorized vehicles only.” After coming to a complete stop, I placed the car in Park, and then shifted back into Drive, and the acceleration functionality returned. …”
