“The contact owns a 2005 Audi TT. While driving 25 MPH, the vehicle failed to accelerate when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The air bag and check engine warning lights illuminated. The failure occurred constantly. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The contact stated that the air bag light has illuminated intermittently since the vehicle was purchased. The dealer has made several unsuccessful attempts to diagnose the malfunction. The problem has continued to occur. The current mileage was 104000 and the failure mileage was 12,000.”

This happens when the seat is moved forward or backward to accommodate different size drivers. Replacement of the air bag did not solve this issue.”
