2008: “I've had the esp/ABS problem since I've owned this car, the yellow warning light comes and goes but whenever the esp/ABS warning light is on, esp/ABS does not work but the light turns off within a few minutes or couple of hours. Somehow when I have the mechanics check diagnose the car for the problem but they ended up not finding any logs for those mentioned problem....last time this happened was today on my way home..”

NHTSA complaint #10940361, filed 2017-01, 72,000 miles

2009: “I've experienced issues when trying to shift gears, most recently when putting the car in reverse from drive, the dashboard started flashing and it lost all power as if it were disengaged or in neutral. I took the car into a dealer as this is a safety issue and was told that there was a recall on this issue for my VIN ( campaign 09v333000), but that it had already been repaired prior to my ownership, which does not seem to be the case.”

NHTSA complaint #10870701, filed 2016-05, 160,000 miles

2000: “I was informed about an engine component recall involving the water pump that was used when replacing the timing components at the vehicle's 100,000 mile service interval. The vehicle tends to start running a little over normal operating temperature while sitting still for more than 5-8 minutes after driving in weather over 60 degrees fahrenheit. The vehicle also runs at higher temperature than normal when driving in slower traffic (under 35mph) I believe the water pump used is part of the recall.”
