“Driving on interstate-95 in new york I felt a vibration start in the back of the car which grew very quickly. I pulled over to find the right rear tire flat. I found the tire had a slit in the side wall half way around the tire with a gap between the tread and the body core of the tire. It appears that the tread started to separate form the tire. I check the tire pressures regularly and keep them at the manufactures recommended pressures.”
