“Upon starting the motorcycle the normal checklist was replaced with brake failure . Dealer tested the ABS unit and indeed it failed. Used this motorcycle in a very limited capacity due to limited braking. Dealer stated the unit was not covered under warranty or recall. In researching this problem I have found it is a common issue with this unit. Replaced the ABS unit thru dealer 4/15. I feel this should be addressed thru this agency as it is definitely a manufacturing/programming problem that then becomes a safety issue.”
