2024 BMW XM Wheels Problems

“Purchased 2024 XM in July 2024. Since then all 4 rims have cracked. Quote by BMW to replace $2500. If replaced I would have paid 10k in a year to replace wheels plus the 3k spent in May and June 2025 for a set of new tires. This week my PSI was zero. I could hear the air coming out. Took XM to a tire shop to find out nothing was wrong. The tire was fine and the previously repaired crack was fine. The shop added air and it held. Then the next day, I could hear air seeping from another tire. My husband drove it around the subdivision and came back home to add air. The seeping had stopped. …”

“The contact owns a 2024 BMW XM. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 MPH, the low tire pressure warning light illuminated. Roadside Assistance towed the vehicle to a dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the front driver’s and passenger’s rims were cracked and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but four months later, the rear passenger’s and driver’s rims cracked. The vehicle was towed back to the same dealer, where it was determined that the rims were cracked. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. …”
