“About a year ago, our 2014 Buick Enclave awd, began shuddering while driving and lagging when trying to accelerate. 4 months ago, the vehicle's check engine light came on while I was on the freeway. It also displayed the traction control off 'stability control off and engine power reduced signs on the dashboard. My vehicle went from 75 MPH to 25 in a matter of seconds.. While I was on the freeway with my two children in the car! I was able to pull off to the side of the road, turn the car completely off and turn it back on again. …”

“I have a p0420 code on my 2014 Buick Enclave for about a year now. Almost everything related to engine performance was replaced because no one could believe that the catalytic converter went bad - even at the dealership - on a 4 year old car where the aftermarket catalytic converter has a 5 year warranty. I spent over $2,000 so far replacing one thing after another at the dealership's advice because they did not even know the reason for the fault. Now I know it is the catalytic converter because the exhaust started smelling bad whenever the car is running. …”

The warnings then displayed on the dash included reduced engine power, service stabilitrak, service traction control, and traction control off. The vehicle only then drove at slow speeds, sputtered and jerked, and felt like it might stall. When able to pull over, at times turning off the car reversed the problem. …”
