Example complaints

Brakes: “Driving at 30mph and all the dashboard lights turned on and all the warnings kept popping on the dashboard and 30 seconds later the brakes were not working when I was approaching a busy intersection. I was able to pump the brakes and stop the vehicle and put it in park and the vehicle shut off and nothing would work - not even the hazard lights. The vehicle is currently at the dealership being assessed.”

NHTSA complaint #11740224, filed 2026-05

Other or unknown: “The sunroof exploded without warning. Driving 57 MPH on a 55 MPH road, it was a sunny day, there were no cars around me and there were open fields on both sides of me. My daughter (17-years old) was starring up at the sunroof when the sunroof exploded.....And it sounded like a gunshot. Manufacturer would not warranty the sunroof as I could not prove the glass was not broken by an object.”

NHTSA complaint #11763565, filed 2026-09

Electrical system: “The wireless charging tray on my Enclave gets the phone very hot. It gets so hot that my phone shuts down. This happens with Pixel, Samsung and Apple devices. There are several reports on the web regarding this issue. I even tried to charge my phone without a case same issue. This is a concern because it can cause a vehicle fire. The batter gets so hot that it can easily catch on fire”

NHTSA complaint #11695257, filed 2025-10

Forward collision avoidance: “Super Cruise system malfunctioned and is available for inspection. The vehicle came close to colliding with a guardrail as explained below. Since I believe the issue is not with the vehicle itself, but with Road Information used by Super Cruise, I have reported this to GM Customer Service but not to a dealer. …”
