“Within the last few years I have noticed the airbag light has been coming on intermittently, every month or so for a few hours to a day. While at the dealer I was told to bring it back when the light is on. This happens when I start the car to make a trip to a store or other daily drives. The problem is getting to the dealer with it on.”

It failed the first time around 40,000 miles and was replaced under the warranty. It failed again around 80,000 and I paid to have it replaced around $900.00. I now have 117,647 miles on the car and it is being replaced again. Gm said they would pay $500.00 of the repair cost. I don't know what is causing these module break but it would seems that this would be a part that rarely breaks. I believe the source of the problem has never been established and that it will go out again in 30,000 miles. …”
