“I have an 2010 Buick Lacrosse cxl I've had for 8years within those years I've replaced the catalytic converter 2x which is pretty pricey considering theirs 3parts. This recent time it was replaced there was gas in the oil. My mechanic states it because of the high pressure fuel pump. Which I feel should be replaced by Buick there's no way I should be changing a converter this often.”
NHTSA complaint #11288108, filed 2019-12, 114,000 miles“I noted the exact same problem reported on the NHTSA site for this same make and model of car. It's included under the heading vehicle speed control. I just purchased this car in the past month and now notice that each time I try to move my foot from the foot feed to the brake pedal my foot catches on the side of the brake pedal. It seems to me to be an obvious safety risk in that it takes another movement of my foot to get it on the brake pedal slowing my response to brake. …”
NHTSA complaint #11021073, filed 2017-09, 344,000 miles“I just purchased a new 2010 Buick Lacrosse cxs---I was not advised that the car is not equipped to give an automatic low fuel level warning!! The owners manual says it is equipped (but its not). Verification has been made with local Buick service dept.---it is very important that this feature be available.”
NHTSA complaint #10304462, filed 2010-02, 10 miles“The contact owns a 2010 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that a strong fuel odor was present when the fuel tank was half full. The failure was persistent. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel tank failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.”
