“The electrical system on the drivers front door is faulty I went through three master window switch's and still something wrong. The cruise control has fault even after some sensors replaced. And the digital odometer display quit working but the rest of the gauges still work the odometer quit showing after 115k. The driver side electrical quit working one day while driving on the highway, the new master switch when you press the button it unlocks and locks the doors. The cruise control quit working in or around 98k miles. …”
NHTSA complaint #11055099, filed 2017-12“Consumer was traveling about 65mph on highway. He parked vehicle on an overlook. When he came back to vehicle to start his wife stated that she smelled smoke. When starting up vehicle idled roughly, and started going down hill at bottom of hill. Also, there smoke and flames erupted from console. He applied brakes and there were no brakes. Vehicle went into mechanical brakes, causing him to stop 100 feet. Consumer and wife evacuated vehicle after stopping, entire vehicle was engulfed in flames. Referenced in ea02-030”
