“The contact owns a 2007 Buick Rendezvous. The contact stated that the side mirrors block her vision while driving at any speed. After adjusting the seat and mirror, her vision was still obstructed by the side mirror. The mirror blocked the view of other vehicles and pedestrians. The failure mileage was 500 and current mileage was 7,000.”
NHTSA complaint #10204189, filed 2007-09, 500 miles“Just bought a 2007 Buick Rendezvous. O/s mirrors are so large they obstruct view of people, approaching cars, etc. Passenger seat air bag info should not be on rear view mirror. It is too distracting. Also, window in rear door isn't low enough. When you look out the rear view mirror you don't get a full view of what's behind you. You see part of the door.”
NHTSA complaint #10197886, filed 2007-07“After purchasing new vehicle - a 2007 Buick Rendezvous - we found that the side mirrors (outside) of the Rendezvous are so huge that they completely block out pedestrians, cars, and even semi-truck size vehicles, when making turns. This is a great hazard that needs to be fixed, before a pedestrian is hit and injured/killed.”
NHTSA complaint #10181224, filed 2007-01“The contact owns a 2007 Buick Rendezvous. The contact stated that the side rearview mirrors were blocking the view of the intersection. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance since they were not able to alter the design of the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was not available.”
