2016: “This car has safety issues. I purchased a year ago. The axle and wheel broke off in on the car within 30 days. The car has huge manufacturer breakdown. It wouldn't start didn't care what gear it was in it was rolling and almost ran over my friend and ran off into a ditch. I have had several accidents in car due to the rear suspension. Shaking. I brought it in and no one can seem to duplicate it. …”

It has been at the dealer since 12/16 (>9 weeks) without any resolution. Calls, emails, posts to Cadillac and general motors go unanswered. I notified GM financial I will no longer make payments on a car I do not have. Also no response.”
NHTSA complaint #11396890, filed 2021-02, 8,900 miles2017: “My 2017 Cadillac CT6 3.0 tt premium luxury has had this issue since I purchased it. The issues with the 8-speed 8l90 GM transmission are two-fold. First, the transmission shudders frequently. Secondly, the shifts are very harsh between first to second, and then second down to first, especially when accelerating and the transmission is upshifting or decelerating and the transmission is downshifting. …”
