“Purchased car (coupe) new with appx. 2k miles (had been used at golf tournament). A week after I purchased, the drivers side door did not open and I was not aware of emergency lever. I called onstar and they were able to unlock it. In the 3 years that I owed it, the car locked me in numerous times. Two different dealers could not find anything wrong with one dealer keeping the car for almost a week trying to figure it out and I was told there were no service alerts. …”

NHTSA complaint #10748011, filed 2015-08, 2,700 miles

“2 problems. First, for the recall for the keychain, can the dealership not just mail me and give me the keychain upon arrival? Most dealerships seem to insist that they have to check the vehicle out, which means I would have to leave it or wait. Second, someone rear ended me, totaling the vehicle (los - perhaps as much as $13,000, as I did not have collision insurance. I believe that I might have avoided the accident, but he came out of a right rear blind spot. I often had trouble seeing people back there, and I believe the large right rear blind spot is a design defect. …”

NHTSA complaint #11228273, filed 2019-06, 70,000 miles

“While driving home from work, approximately 35 miles into a 40-mile trip, my traction control warning light turned on. The driver information center (dic) indicated service traction control, engine power reduced. The vehicle's power was then reduced, and I was unable to maintain my speed (approximately 52 MPH), and my car slowed down due to a lack of power, and I was only able to achieve 40 MPH. I pulled into a parking lot, turned the car off for about five minutes. I then restarted the car. …”

NHTSA complaint #10490633, filed 2013-01, 60,000 miles

“When driving vehicle at low speeds into and up a right hand driveway there is a loud creaking sound coming from the rear of the sunroof. It does not creak going up a left hand driveway. The creaking is predominately at the rear and to the right of the sunroof. At normal driving speeds the creaking is heard over moderate to large bumps. The creaking has been going on since day 1 when I bought the car brand new.”

NHTSA complaint #10446328, filed 2012-02, 80 miles

“Cadillac recall the brakes did not function properly on the vehicle. The brake light came on and at times the car did not immediately stop when brakes were pressed. As a result, I could no longer drive the vehicle and had to find other means of transportation. In addition, recalls and issue with this car have made the news.”
