“The dashboard has cracked and researching the problem, I found that this is a common problem with GM vehicles my year model and after. The vehicle is garage kept and is not exposed to direct sunlight or extreme cold temperatures.”

NHTSA complaint #11153575, filed 2018-11, 95,000 miles

“We are concerned about a safety issue with a cracked dashboard and deployment of the takata airbags. On january 8, 2019, two, long, wide cracks appeared in the passenger dashboard from the windshield vent toward the glove compartment. They were about 6' long. Beneath the cracks one could see a light tan, soft looking item. The next day a similar crack appeared on the driver dash. The vehicle was parked in the garage like it has been every day and night. It has about 72,000 miles; we are the 2nd owner and purchased it in 2009 with about 7,000 miles. …”

NHTSA complaint #11166635, filed 2019-01, 72,000 miles

“Takata recall the message 'low oil pressure, stop engine' comes on when ever I am at a standstill too long. The dealership has said to start with a new oil pump and go from there, but I could need a new engine. Based on a forum I frequent about escalades, it seems Escalade models 2007-2011 are having this same issue. If GM is aware that this is an ongoing issue with these specific year models, maybe they need to do a recall.”

NHTSA complaint #11023289, filed 2017-09

“I purchased this vehicle from 4 aces automotive in lithonia. They bought the car at an auction on may 27th 2019 with 230,000 miles on it and then miraculously on may 30th 2019 the car pass emissions with only 98000 miles on it. They are tampering with the odometers and selling cars by sneaking in an odometer discrepancy form while you are signing the paperwork without mentioning it or disclosing any information regarding the mileage being wrong. They told me I could call the president the united states for all they care because they make more money suing people than they do selling cars. …”

NHTSA complaint #11221863, filed 2019-06

“Consumer requests a stolen bag and over charge from airlines the tire pressure light illuminated. The dealer recalibrated the tire sensor monitors. Updated 11/15/10 updated 11/19/10 the consumer stated there was cloudy white smoke coming from the vehicle. It was determined the engine and gasket failed due to a pin hole that caused the oil to leak out. Updated 12/01/10 updated 02/08/11”
