“The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that water was leaking into the trunk of the vehicle during inclement weather. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring for 4 years. Additionally, the contact stated that a message regarding theft was displayed while in the process of turning off the vehicle. The contact stated that upon attempting to release the ignition key from the ignition switch after turning off the vehicle, the ignition key was stuck. The contact was unable to release the key. …”

The speed decreased and failed to accelerate over 40 MPH. After the deceleration, the vehicle accelerated up to 70 MPH. The contact mentioned that a crash was avoided due to the failure. The dealer stated that the main board failed. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 2,300. Updated 10/10/14 the consumer stated the back bumper popped out on the driver's side twice after 50 miles. …”
