“Rear window glass in convertible top became delaminated from seal at all corners. Glass rattled when windows were down like it was going to blow off the car. This is a safety issue as the glass may fly off the car. The dealership said they will not warranty the top past 36,000 miles. This is third third top installed on this car. This defect occurs after about 1 1/2 to 2 years before a new one is needed.”

NHTSA complaint #11526453, filed 2023-06“The rear window is separating from the roof. It seems to be a common problem with certain Camaros and other type GM convertibles. The original roof was replaced on this vehicle for same problem. The replaced rear window, roof is now separating from the roof again. (in less than 2 years since the original roof was replaced) GM/Chevrolet's only fix is to replace the entire roof. It appears to be a manufacturing defect with the glue/adhesive in the manufacturing process. Chevy will not honor or stand behind their product and want me to pay for the entire roof replacement. …”
