The contact stated that the air bag indicator displayed service air bag . The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 81,000.”

The contact stated that the front passenger side air bag off warning indicator illuminated with an occupant present. The vehicle was driven; however, the failure persisted. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the air bag sensor would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 45,000.”
