“The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet SS. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the temperature gauge indicated that the engine was overheating, prompting the contact to discontinue driving the vehicle. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the engine. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The contact also stated that an insurance claim was denied due to potential mileage roll back. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 159,000. …”
