2016: “The blind spot sensor started not to work sporadically started not to work at 36,500 miles. Now they don't work at all and at least I am notified of this two to three times every use of the vehicle. Talked and researched this which is a common issue with GM cars and trucks of my cars vintage. Gm knew of the design issue before they built the car but didn't replace it.”

NHTSA complaint #11353118, filed 2020-09, 36,500 miles

2014: “My cars power steering has failed. The dealership is putting in a new steering gear. My car had a recall done on it on 2/15. It was to lube a connector. Now it has failed again. My car has the same steering gear as a Chevrolet caprice ppv recall #22010. Those are being replaced under the recall free of charge and I have to pay for mine being fixed for the same exact part.”

NHTSA complaint #10855697, filed 2016-04, 41,000 miles

2015: “The airbag warning light came on in the car and I took it in for service as soon as an appointment became available. After a few hours of diagnosis, Chevrolet service determined there was a loose wire and it was repaired. The problem was that my car was out of service for two days while the issue was being diagnosed and I had to pay for the repair. I think this type of safety repair should be covered by the manufacturer exclusive of the warranty period.”
