2001: “Abs brake system light on. Inspection failed. Said it was a safety issue no recall though. 1800.00 repair parts and labor. If this is a safety issue then why isn't the part recalled ? Online there are thousands of people with the same issue, we have had our brake system looked at and it is fine and safe, even though the light is on. On the chevy astro recall pages it even states and I qoute the anti-lock brake system (ABS) control unit may fail internally causing the ABS warning light to illuminate. …”

NHTSA complaint #11066190, filed 2018-02, 57,000 miles

2003: “I noticed a very strong odor of gas every time I filled the car. In december, I saw a larger pool of gas under my car as I was fill the tank. I looked under and saw most of the gas was spilling onto the ground. Took the car in to the deal and found out the filler tube was rusted through. The reason for this type of problem on a car that is 8 years old stems around the covering around the tube. Water gets trapped and cannot dry. Bad design. Luckily, I do not smoke.”
