Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The last 2 days when I drive at night the headlights (low beams) shut off. I switch to the high beams and they work. This has happened in the dark and is dangerous because it happens about 30 or 40 minutes after driving the car. I let the car sit for 4 or 5 hours and then come back and they start working. It is the underhood bussed electrical center (ubec) housing I suspect.”
