“The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet corvette with oe concept aluminum wheels. The contact stated that the manufacturer put steel in the wheels, which caused the tires to become out of balance. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who advised that because two unlike metals were placed together, the tires would certainly disintegrate. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The equipment was returned. The failure and the current mileage was 32,000. The VIN was not available.”
