“High pressure power steering hose o-ring at pump failed 4 times, due to vibration. Blows fluid on catalytic converters causing fire hazard. '96 vette has re-engineered hose & restraint bracket to correct problem. '96 parts fit/fix '93 vette. Chevrolet pleads ignorance, no bulletin. Wasted $600 for '93 style parts (pump & 4 hoses) dealer recommended, before I discovered proper '96 retrofit ($175). Chevrolet says it's my problem.”
