“Paint peeling off car like sheets of wallpaper. When I took my car to dealer where I bought it I was told we know about the problem.I was told that is a big problem with these cars and it is a defect in the paint and that is was not warranitied by dealer or manufacture. If it is a known problem why is it not being taken care of?”
NHTSA complaint #10726141, filed 2015-06, 80,000 miles“Had a foul fuel smell, found out gas tank needed to be replaced. Repair facility stated that chevy had the tank in 'ready',no issue to order one. Sounds like some one was ready for this to happen. No assistance from the dealer or Chevrolet. Drivers side from door to rear of car paint is falling off. I can see and feel some sort of 'bubbles' under the paint. Looks like no recall.”
NHTSA complaint #11349183, filed 2020-08, 98,000 miles“Water has gotten into the dash. As the weather became warm - the passenger compartment was permeated with mold and mildew. There is still a sloshing sound under the dash.”
