“When I was parked I was rolling the windows with the car running and all the lights and car was cutting off. While I'm driving I lose power all my dash lights go out and while making a turn the steering wheel locks up to where I can not correct myself from turning so I have to stop in the middle of the street until the power comes back on.”
NHTSA complaint #11320887, filed 2020-04, 109,000 miles“When driving, the car will suddenly stop and lose power. It will restart again but will not have power steering. This happens on city streets, because of the problem we have kept it off highways. Unknown the cause, there was a recall about this happening but per the VIN it was completed. We have owned the car 7 months.”
NHTSA complaint #11397861, filed 2021-02, 103,000 miles“While driving on the highway the power steering went out (everything blinked off for a couple of seconds and then back on) pulling the car to the left suddenly and my car went into the median and hit a tree. When the power car came back on it said service power steering and then service stabili trac. There was significant damage to the front of my vehicle.”
NHTSA complaint #11014082, filed 2017-08, 96,200 miles“While in the middle of traffic at a stop light the car shut completely off where my steering went out, the key was locked in the ignition and I had to get someone to help push the car into a parking lot for safety. The car has been jerking, will not pick up speed and if sitting at a stoplight too long, the car will shut off. When I put the car in reverse, the car either jerks or shuts off but then starts back up.”
NHTSA complaint #11326803, filed 2020-06, 60,917 miles“While driving the vehicles electrical system, lights, radio dash start to intermittently go off then come back on. While this is happening the steering suddenly froze up while making a turn into oncoming traffic. This nearly caused a head on collision with oncoming cars. That same night when I pulled up in front of my house the headlights and instrument cluster kept flashing on and off.”
