“The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the rear liftgate independently opened while there was cargo loaded inside the bed of the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked in the garage, after inspecting the vehicle the rear liftgate had independently opened, causing damages to the garage door. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. …”
