“On saturday, november 16, 2019, I was attempting to exit my vehicle when I pulled the door handle only to have it break off in my hand. I went to reach to see if there was anything left to pull to open the door only to find the handle had broken off cleanly from the mechanism, leaving no other way to exit the vehicle other than rolling down the window and opening the door from the outside through the window or by sliding all the way across the vehicle to exit through the passenger side of the vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #11281375, filed 2019-11, 87,500 miles

“My dashboard started cracking and I went to the dealer and got told it was only a cosmetic problem. I seen hundreds of GM trucks with the same problem. I always used the windshield sun shield and only cleaned it with a damped cloth as per manufacture's recommendation. As of right now I am scared that if the airbags get activated they will make the dashboard fall apart in a crash. All this projectiles could injure the driver and the passenger since they are sharp and could fly at high speed.”

NHTSA complaint #11021480, filed 2017-09, 25,000 miles

“The dash has cracked at the top right corner of the airbag on the passenger airbag. Nothing was done to cause the crack. It wasn't there one day and then it was there the next day.”
