“The cab is leaking rain water in the back driver side corner of the cab! I just noticed it while we were driving in the rain. It looks like it has occurred twice before because of stains.”

NHTSA complaint #11352124, filed 2020-08, 11,300 miles

“Back window leaked. It was a heavy mist all night, not even heavy rain yet, and when we opened the passenger back door in the morning around 7:30 am, we found a pool of water on the back seat and water running down the seat. When I checked the forums, there is an abundance of complaints about the back windows leaking in Chevy trucks for many years now.”

NHTSA complaint #11554371, filed 2023-11

“Water leaking in around rear window causing moldy smell, puddled water on rear floor, saturated carpet. Believe to be health hazard because my eyes & nose burn when I’m in the vehicle. Have not had any inspection of this problem because the warranty had run out before I discovered. This is a known problem to GM on numerous trucks as I learned after researching. Truck has very low mileage, less than 15000. Very disappointed.”

NHTSA complaint #11592576, filed 2024-06

“Rear window frame is leaking during rain or heavy dew. Causing saturated headliner, seats and carpet. Mold could develop and become a health factor. My 2 kids always ride in the back seat. This is a known issue for GM and are not taking action to correct this problem. Vehicle started leaking with 25,000 miles.”
