“The vehicle had a handicapped driver conversion, with a gull-wing driver's door. The driver's door was only held closed with a magnet at the front of the door opening. There was not a latch to actually hold the door closed. In the accident, the truck was traveling at a high rate of speed on a gravel road. The roadway sharply descended to a low-water bridge, which caused the truck to elevate and leave the roadway. When the truck returned to the road, the magnet holding the driver's door failed, the driver's door popped open, and the driver was ejected 80 feet. …”
