“Dt: the caller said that when turning on the left turn signal the hazard lights come on. He said they go off when he finishes the turn. It started without warning about nine months ago, but has gotten worse lately. It does not happen every time, but it is happening more often. Dealer and manufacturer claim there is no recall on this vehicle and they will offer no help for free.”

NHTSA complaint #10137276, filed 2005-09, 36,000 miles

“The daytime running lights have failed due to what appears to be the overheating of the lamp sockets. When you go to replace the lamp' the sockets appears to be burnt and brittle and are missing the little metal tabs used to make contact with the lamp base. You cant replace the lamp. Therefore I only have 1 daytime running light and am worried about a possible fire hazard with the other one. The one that works looks like it's not far from failing and very soon wont be working either. …”

NHTSA complaint #10073050, filed 2004-05, 800 miles

“Left turn signal causes the turn signals to act as hazard signals preventing other drivers from knowing the truck is turning left. There is a know recall coering this issue with 03 suvs and trucks, but chevy states it does not effect my truck. Here is the recall from the internet. On certain trucks and sport utility vehicles, the driver wishing to signal a turn by moving the directional signal lever, (up or down) may cause the front marker/turn lights and rear turn lights to flash in a manner similar to hazard warning, rather than flashing on the desired side only. …”

NHTSA complaint #10165274, filed 2006-08, 18,000 miles

“When braking at any speed brake pedal would go to the floor, and there would be extended stopping distance. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem. Abs displayed brake system failure. The consumer stated that the brakes failed on inclines. The consumer stated that there was an electrical short. The odometer failed and added extra mileage. The tires started separating after 300 miles. The radio became hot and shorted out. The air conditioner shorted out.
