NHTSA complaint #10609631, filed 2014-07, 10,000 miles

“Three cracks around the passenger airbag. First cracked appeared about 60,000 miles followed by the next smaller one then around 85,000 the larger one. This appears to be a common problem that GM is aware of but is not accepting responsibility for the potential safety hazard.”

NHTSA complaint #10820344, filed 2016-01, 60,000 miles

“Total fog up of windshield and all windows. This only occurs below freezing as noted by the information center warning of the possibility of freezing roads. The yellow A/C on light in the fan speed control knob is not on, and when the A/C button is pushed the yellow A/C on light flashes three times and goes out. There is no configuration that will activate the A/C and thus mitigate the fog! …”

NHTSA complaint #10404980, filed 2011-06, 5,000 miles

“The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado. While driving approximately 35 MPH, the traction control warning indicator illuminated. The dealer stated that the steering control sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. The failure mileage was 41,000. Updated 11/24/14”

NHTSA complaint #10639938, filed 2014-09, 41,000 miles

“The dashboard is cracked in 3 places around the airbag. This could potentially be a safety hazard if the airbag were to deploy sending projectile pieces of plastic towards the occupants of the vehicle. The cracks in the dashboard formed due to an obvious design flaw. There was no incident that caused the cracks just normal driving.”
