“As we were driving on major highway our stabilitrak light came on and the engine cut out, we had no power. We waited for 30 minutes and started engine, it ran fine. This has happened a total of 5 times now. I would like to have this problem solved and just to have it assessed at our local dealer it will cost $120. We cannot afford that. Please help !!!”
NHTSA complaint #10444070, filed 2012-01, 45,000 miles“When you engage vehicle in drive, there is a very jerky, push-pull when accelerating until traction control sensor flashes and turns stabilitrak off. This can be very dangerous when pulling out into traffic and the vehicle does not want to smoothly accelerating to a safe merge in speed. I also have an issue with the dashboard cracking and causing the speaker built into the dash to rattle uncontrollable - this is very irritating and a safety issue as it causes me to take my eyes/hands off the wheel to try and stop the rattle!”
