“My 2023 Chevrolet Suburban developed a Service Driver Assist System warning, and both the front and rear parking assistance systems stopped functioning. When approaching objects at low speeds in Drive or Reverse, the vehicle did not provide the expected parking distance warnings. I took the vehicle to an authorized Chevrolet dealership on October 22, 2026. The dealership initially attributed the problem to a low 12-volt battery and recommended replacing it. I authorized installation of a new ACDelco AGM battery. The dealer tested the charging system at 13.5 volts. …”

NHTSA complaint #11774423, filed 2026-10

“Multiple time the full safety camera system has failed. The front rear and 360 degree view camera have intermittently failed multiple times. Restarting the vehicle has had no effect on restoring functionality of the very vital rear back up camera, front camera, parking and pedestrian sensors. This is a random occurrence, has happened at least 5 separate occasions since purchase, and occurs intermittently. Date is the last time this issue occurred.”

NHTSA complaint #11495507, filed 2022-11

“On Star module failure. The module controls many different safety features and it has failed and has been on a backorder for months creating a safety issue every day.”
