“The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that the driver and passenger side windows and door locks malfunctioned. The contact stated that she was unable to open or close the windows and the locks failed to unlock. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000. Updated 10/23/2012”

Causes visual images on windshield when driving making it a hazardous situation. There is two cracks on this dash which over time will cause tremendous issues with safety issues associated to the wiring and safety airbags.”

The contact stated that after taking the vehicle to the dealer for NHTSA campaign number: 10v240000, (electrical system), the contact was informed that the heated washer module would be permanently disabled and removed from the vehicle. The contact indicated that by removing the heated washer fluid module from the vehicle, he would be unable to remove ice from the windshield during icy weather conditions. The heated washer module was an added expense when the vehicle was purchased. …”
