“2021 Chevrolet suburban, 79 miles on odometer when driven off lot on 02/22/21. Vehicle frame and suspension parts, as well as, control, steering, and powertrain parts have significant corrosion occurring. Vehicle was manufactured and inspected 11/2020. Vehicle was visually inspected by owner. Currently in process of trying to remedy with GM. Corrosion so early in vehicle life will undoubtedly lead to failure. I reside in tacoma, washington. Vehicle was purchased in puyallup, washington. More photos available upon request. There are several more areas of corrosion than photo upload allowed for. …”

“I’ve been dealing with an alignment issue since last June when I took in my 2021 Tahoe z71 with air ride suspension. It’s chewed up the stock tires at just 25,000 miles. It’s came out of alignment 3-4 times since then and Chevrolet is doing nothing about it. I’ve spoke with others that have the same vehicle and the same problem. I just purchased tires for $1,100 just over a month ago and I checked the alignment last week and it was out again after City Chevrolet fixed it on January 17th of 23.”

NHTSA complaint #11517140, filed 2023-04

“I purchased my vehicle new in 2020. It presently has around 83,000 miles. From early on, it has occasionally hesitated, then jumped when putting the car in reverse. I spoke to the dealership years ago but they said it was nothing. On July 19, 2026, my car randomly would not shift above (probably) second gear on the highway. After parking, it would not shift into reverse at all. The vehicle was towed more than 30 miles to my hometown dealership as it was inoperable. It now requires something approaching a transmission replacement costing between $2500-4500, or more. …”

NHTSA complaint #11753041, filed 2026-07

“While driving on a residential street during daylight hours, on a clear day at approximately 20 miles per hour the right wheel on my car dislodged. This caused me to lose control of steering the vehicle and strike a parked car. There were people walking about on the sidewalk at the time and other cars traveling. When I exited the car I saw that the passenger side was completely on the ground and there were broken pieces and liquid coming from underneath the car. The axel was broken with a clean break. The car was then towed to the dealership where I was informed it could not stay. …”

NHTSA complaint #11439807, filed 2021-11

“The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while turning left or right, there was a grinding and scratching sound coming from underneath the front-end of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed and the contact was informed that the wheel was rubbing against the wheel well. The dealer completed a tire adjustment. The contact noticed over time that the tread on the front tires had been wearing very quickly. The vehicle was returned to the dealer who determined that the lower control arms had failed. …”
