Example complaints

Exterior lighting: “The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet TRAILBLAZER 360. While driving various speeds, the headlights seized without warning. The failure occurred randomly. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 15v519000 (exterior lighting). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.”

NHTSA complaint #10819760, filed 2016-01, 90,000 miles

Electrical system: “Fuel sending unit failed so I could not tell how much fuel I had. Gm would not replace it. They sent me a letter that they had problems with them all. And would pay for half of the repair. That is unacceptable.”

NHTSA complaint #10466518, filed 2012-07, 67,000 miles

Fuel system: “The fuel gauge reads empty when the tank is full. At first, it would level off after driving approximately 100 miles. The gauge then stayed at empty all of the time. My wife drives this vehicle on the highway and we're always concerned she will run out of gas in a very dangerous situation. Chevrolet customer assistance has offered to pay 50% of the repair cost of $700-800. I feel there should be a recall on the faulty fuel tank sensor that they admit needs to be replaced.”

NHTSA complaint #10435964, filed 2011-11, 68,000 miles

Visibility (wipers, defrost, mirrors): “The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet TRAILBLAZER 360. While the vehicle was parked, the front and rear driver side door windows failed to operate and the front driver door could not be locked. The failure recurred intermittently. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 15v599000 (visibility). The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
